At the heart of our business is the essence of the Margaret River region.
A town of natural beauty surrounded by tall Karri trees, open ocean, red rocky cliffs, undulating plains, farm land and vineyards.
We acknowledge the Wadandi people as the traditional owners of this region in which we build and operate in, and pay respect to their enduring connections to Boodja. The Margaret River that is synonymous with the town has been a vital life source for the Wadandi people for tens of thousands of years. Its essence flows through the earth into the vines and trees, trickles down to the caves and washes out to meet with the salt water at the crest of foamy waves.

Meet The Team
Nathan Johns
Director & Builder
Proudly a South West local originally hailing from Bridgetown, Nathan from a young age discovered he had an innate ability to create magic with his hands from fishing, football, basketball to playing guitar.
He recognised that this skill combined with his people skills and eagerness to learn how to put things together made for an obvious career choice.
From then, Nathan has relentlessly pursued carpentry by completing a carpentry apprenticeship under an esteemed local Bridgetown builder, and later starting his own carpentry and renovation business in Perth. Nathan then became a registered builder and decided to start a building company with a business partner, where they worked on several projects in Perth and Bridgetown.
After making the permanent tree change with Kelly to Margaret River, the decision was made to branch out for the final time.
And so, Forest to Coast Homes was born.
Having worked in the building and construction industry for over 16 years, Nathan has mastered his craft and knows what it takes to create beautiful, quality homes. He prides himself on his integrity and exceptional craftsmanship, and holds himself to a much higher standard than the current WA building industry standard.
Nathan has received the PAC Process Trained recognition and was recently awarded and recognised at the Live Life Build Annual Awards for his commitment to elevating the residential building industry.
Custom builds are Nathan's passion; seeing the designers drawings turn into the finished product, and his clients moving into their dream home gives him great satisfaction.
And if he’s not building? He is almost certainly fishing somewhere along the beautiful WA coastline and drinking a few craft beers.
Kelly Lodge-Calvert
Marketing Director & Business Manager
Kelly is a marketing and communications all-rounder with a down-to-earth and entrepreneurial spirit.
Having worked in the corporate world for over 9 years, Kelly has had the opportunity to work for some of Australia’s largest organisations including Wesfarmers and the CBH Group.
Following their recent tree change, Kelly has loved the opportunity to start a new business, and apply her skills to create a go-to-market strategy and help bring Forest to Coast Homes to life.
With a passion for delivering exceptional client experience, Kelly is determined to ensure that each and every client not only loves their new home, but enjoys the journey.
In her spare time, you can find her at the beach, getting stuck into a good book or horse riding.
Nathan and Kelly love the South West lifestyle, and enjoy exploring everything from the forest to the coast.
